Dear Difference Maker,
One of my favorite stories happens to be a true story written by John Wayne "Jack" Schlatter for Chicken Soup For The Soul Vol. 1 in 1993. It has been passed along for several decades.
It is about how a simple gesture - an act of kindness - dramatically altered the direction this young life was headed for that fateful day.
No matter how many times I watch it, I always choke up at just how simple transforming and/or even saving someone's life can, in fact, be. It is my hope that you are moved by it too because reaching out to help pick up the life of another person is amazingly, always, the best gift we can give ourselves!
We welcome you to pass it on to all the people in your life - letting them know what a difference they make - by using this movie for a public presentation or in whatever ways will be of greatest service. It is our hope that this movie will positively impact as many lives as possible.
