...in just 3 short years, my life went from being a successful educator to feeling like someone was running their fingernails down the blackboard of my soul. I lost my first child at birth; a year later I had a high-risk pregnancy which resulted in the birth of a beautiful, healthy boy; the next year I divorced my husband; the year after that I moved to a new city and state, and when all of my job prospects and interview fell through, I found myself a single mother of a two year old; burned out and living - literally - on pennies.
With the exception of my precious son, I'd had everything happen in my life that I'd never wanted to have.
LIFE WAS DEMANDING that I BE more; not expend myself more in the ways that I had been.
I turned off the television and started reading spiritually based books like the Bible, Norman Vincent Peale's The Power of Positive Thinking, Catherine Ponder's The Dynamic Laws of Prosperity, Florence Scoval Shinn's The Power of the Spoken Word and Napoleon Hill's Think and Grow Rich... which is where I first learned about MasterMinding.
