Dear Difference Maker,
Maybe you've heard the statement: Where attention goes, energy flows.
The problematic areas in our lives are very seductive, and the tendency is to talk to other people about the problem, the problem ... the problem.
As one attends to the problem repeatedly, nothing improves. Nothing gets better, and it's easy to stay stuck by remaining in a state of powerlessness about whatever the opportunity is offering us.
First, if you are ever going to enJOY a Rich and fulfilling life, you've got to
get over the G word. Stop equating God with your parents, who were only human after all. Stop fearing God as a punisher. And by all means stop blaming God for your circumstances!
Think of God as the loving protector, provider, promoter and guide.
When you read scripture, replace all contexts of "fearing" God to "respect," "love" and being "in awe" of God.
Energizers and De-energizers #1: the fear of God constricts energy i.e.,
De-energizes us, whereas love, awe and respect for God releases positive energy and Energizes us in receiving solutions.
When you put God first, you will get your answers in one of three ways:
1) Yes, 2) No, and 3) not now.
Regardless of what answer you get, put your faith and feet forward. As Winston Churchill once said, "If you're going through hell, keep going."
The second step to shifting your energy upward is to thank God in advance for the solution.
Open your mind to receive by visiting with God about what you'd prefer instead of constantly telling other people about the problem, the problem ... the problem.
This one spiritually connecting conversation alone will start bringing in the new solutions and rich ideas needed to come up over the situation.
Putting the wisdom and genius of that which created the entire Universe and breathes us right now in this moment FIRST before people IS the reason why, in my MasterMinding System, within the context of the MasterMind Session, we do not give advice, brainstorm or require that people be accountable.
The only person you must be accountable to is yourself and your personal relationship with God.
The authoritarian nature of advice-giving, brainstorming and accountability blocks our IGS - Inner Guidance System. Another way to put it is that we Edge God Out (i.e., EGO)!
