Re: April Is Child Abuse Prevention Month
According to Prevent Child Abuse of America, 43 percent of American parents report spanking or hitting their child, 37 percent report insulting or swearing at their child, and 2 percent report having kicked, bit or punched their child (likely very ubder-reported.) More than 3 million children are reported to child protective service agencies as alleged victims of child abuse or neglect each year, and approximately 1 million of these reports are confirmed.
It's TIME to un-pack the baggage of generational legacies of pain NOW. We can do this by bringing my Make a Difference with the Power of Acknowledgment (MDPA) UTrain® Program into every organization.
Here's the thing: when you HEAL the workplace, you HEAL the home, and when you HEAL the home you HEAL the children, and when you HEAL the children, you HEAL the schools and when you HEAL the schools you HEAL your community at-large.
