Re: LET's Get This Done!

160,000 students stay home from school every single day because of bullying.
50 people commit suicide every day in the U.S. = 18,000+ a year. Debilitating addictions in all forms are on the rise.

Maybe you, like me, have noticed that not enough is getting accomplished quick enough regarding gun legislation for keeping our kids, schools, businesses and our communities safe to the levels that they could be.

Our government is at odds with itself, while too many people in our country need to be "taught how to fish," and they are not being afforded the "catch a fish - feed yourself" knowledge and support they need on all levels: physical, emotional and social.

How can I say this? Look at the results we are getting in this country (and dare I say, in the World.) They are magnified and growing exponentially while we keep doing the same things over and over again expecting different results!

Shame, guilt and humiliation are still the forms of discipline used most for trying to control unproductive behaviors in our homes, schools and businesses.

To combat the violence in schools, new policies are being adopted that allow teachers to now carry handguns. Have you ever heard of the saying, "Put a band-aide on it" (implication being that "it" will heal itself).

Well, how's that working for us?

Generational legacies of pain will only get healed with NEW "know how," and I have a plan to Get This Done, with your help!

What we've got here is a wound in our society that's not healing. It started with a deep cut that turned into a scab that keeps getting "picked at." It's not healing because what needs to be healed underneath society's wounded psyche is unable to heal by itself.

"Of myself, I can not do this but with your help, we can..."

LET's Get This Done! Support me to do what others are "waiting" on government to do. I have the antidote. I have the field-tested program and experience.

As you know, I've been writing about my Make A Difference with the Power of Acknowledgment UTrain® Programs for a while, and NOW I have the necessary systems in place to proceed with my Train the Trainer outreach.

I am going to begin with Persistently Low Performing Schools. My program will also reach out to their community businesses, organizations and churches.

GOALs of the 1,000,000 "I Make A Difference" Wristband Campaign:

Phase 1: Create an hour-long documentary to feature the positive effects of Make A Difference with the Power of AcknowledgmentUTrain® Program – MDPA. The project will be shot over 10 non-consecutive days of filming in a school and will begin with an in-service training for teachers.

The film will feature interviews of teachers, faculty, parents, students and community leaders. In addition to this, a training video series will be created from the first day of in-service training for use in all schools, so that superintendents, principals, teachers, counselors, directors and professional development trainers can SEE themselves being able to bring this MDPA UTrain® Program into their organization and make a community wide difference with it.

Phase 2: Give out 1,000,000 "I Make A Difference" Wristbands to all those Persistently Low Performing Schools, Title 1 and/or Financially Distressed Schools that agree to use my Make A Difference with the Power of Acknowledgment UTrain® Program and materials.

Phase 3: Repeat Phase 2 over and over and over again 1,000,000 at a time, first in the USA, then around the wrold.
