Peg Bracken, author of "The I Hate To Cook Book" wrote: "Gifts of time and love are surely the basic ingredients of a truly merry Christmas."
LO Baird once said, "May no gift be too small to give, nor too simple to receive, which is wrapped in thoughtfulness, and tied with love."
It is a season of awareness of those who do not find this time of year joyous. It is the time of year to be inclusive in authentic and mindful ways. Practice reaching out at this time of year so that it carries you forward through the upcoming seasons.
This time of year reminds us that the pain of every labor brings with it new Hope and new Life at the darkest time of the year; the power of life and Love is all healing. Reflect on what gives meaning. Light your candle so that it will shine upon the dark. Take the time to touch the heart of another human being ...if only for a moment, in this season of Love and Light... no gift is too small.
Reaching out ....
