Dear Difference Maker
The harvesting of the majority of wine grapes in the Northern Hemisphere occurs in late August to early October. Having been raised in Nebraska, I know this month is also the time when the Great Plains farmers are harvesting their corn and soybean crops.
For all those working toward any objective or goal this year, now is the time to harvest financial gains, and in order to multiply this year's efforts into next year, we prepare to enjoy the fruits of our labors by giving thanks. This coming Monday is Thanksgiving Day in Canada, which was originally observed in Newfoundland and other parts of the country by new European settlers.
In Canada, Thanksgiving is about family and food, and for many, football, just as it is in the United States. Some families choose to observe a four day weekend (Friday through Monday), but the official public holiday in Canada is on Monday, giving most a three day weekend.
So to our Canadian friends, we wish you a love filled Thanksgiving weekend!
To our International friends, your seasons may be just the opposite of ours, and yet we all harvest more good by giving thanks, no matter what time of year it is.
May Your Harvest be Abundant Beyond Measure!
Reaching out ...
