1. Jealousy and envy; fear of being seen as insincere flattery, fake.

2. Speechless; as in "ah, don't know what to say," can't find the words.

3. I'll do it tomorrow; tomorrow never comes.

4. That person is so great they don't need it or it'll give them a big (or bigger) head.

5. If you do it too much it will lose its impact and/or importance.

6. Fear of being rejected; blown off. Feeling vulnerable.

7. Don't belong, so why bother.

Error Thinking: Scarcity mentality is the fear based, negative belief that "more for you" means "less for me." The term, "Zero-Sum" means that "there's not enough pie for everyone."

And so we think that by withholding Acknowledgment we are somehow preserving something for ourselves!

This makes no practical sense.

With Make A Positive Difference Program the entire workforce is going to learn how to Successfully Reach Out to Acknowledge others to Make A Difference because we JUST DON'T KNOW whose life we may be saving or making a difference in.

The life we may be saving may be someone we are very close to, someone we hardly know, a stranger, or even our own!
