Make A Difference in... with the Power of SYNERGY |
Dear Difference Maker,
I rarely recommend a TV program, but I found myself quite enthralled with the June 15th episode of Men of a Certain Age, because it so beautifully illustrated - of all things - the power of compassion to create instantaneous TEAM SYNERGY.
To set it up for you, Owen, the car dealership manager, couldn't get his summer softball team to come together. The shop mechanics didn't want to play with the sales people, so he offered to pay the mechanics to play, behind the backs of the sales people. And, of course, the truth came out early in the game, and everything went from bad to worse because of all of the office attitudinal friction going on between the two factions. Of course, they were losing by a good margin when it was Owen's turn to bat. He hit a short ball and was running as hard as he could to first base, when he lunges full body to slide into first base ... stopping flat just one foot from touching the base, with his face in the dirt. His team, his wife, kids and father (the previous owner/manager of the car dealership) sat there watching in horror and humiliation for him.
And that's when it happened: Compassion. It was palpable. You could visibly see the team coming together for their boss. It could have gone the other way. They could have chosen to be totally disgusted by their "loser" boss ... but in that moment, they all felt his humiliation, and they rose to the occasion.
You will have to watch the show to see what happens next, but I assure you, it's worth finding it on TNT or at their website and watching it all the way to the very end. It will have you cheering!

Are you...
Interested in the New Quantum Science and HOW you can intentionally apply your attitudinal energy to deliberately transform the negativity of intense situations?
Whether you're a manager, administrator or entrepreneur, trying every day to herd a bunch of cats into the same room at the same time requires the kind of leadership that the Tom Sawyers of the world know about. (Remember how he got everyone to paint the fence, thinking they were having a great time, while he simply stepped aside?)
This program is built upon the premise that COMPASSION IS THE GAME CHANGER for any problematic area you and your team need to experience, to achieve synergistic productivity.
Some of the simplest methods for leading are actually quite easy to accomplish. And once you get my Team SYNERGY system working for you, a lot of the hard work you're doing now can be reduced to a fraction of your time and effort. Click Here for Video.
