Dear Difference Maker,
Scene 1: You've been given the keys to the treasure chest of everything you could possibly enjoy in this life-time; radiant and physically comfortable health, love, a happy spouse and children, financial abundance and freedom ...but the chest is a 30 ft. walk across a 6 inch wood plank from one 12 story building to another 12 story building. There are no stairs up in the building with the treasure chest of life, and the only way to get there is to cross the plank. There is no one around to help you or do it for you. On a scale of 1-10 how willing are you to make the trek from one side to the other?
Insight 1: You can have all of the Keys to the Kingdom given to you, but if you let fear stop you from making the trek to get yourself where you need to go to even open the treasure chest, then the treasure chest for your life remains unopened.
Scene 2: You have a loved one on top of a 12-story building who needs your help and you are on the other 12-story building across the street with a 30 ft. - 6 ft. plank standing between you. There are no stairs up to your loved one in that building and the only way to get there is to cross the plank. There is no one around to help you or do it for you. On a scale of 1-10 how willing are you to make the trek from one side to the other?
Insight 2: When your heart becomes involved, you are more likely to make the trek across from one tall building to another.
Commitment is never about whether or not something is convenient on any given day. And interestingly enough, acquiring a rich life in health, love and money is all about what you are ultimately willing to do for LOVE.
