A
'Must See' child told story!
Yesterday I received this FWD email message: The Story of Jonah as Told by The Cutest Little Girl, Mary Margaret ...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z4VrujheblY
After watching it, I realized that there are many ways we try to run and hide from our God-given directions. The most important being our Gifts and Talents.
The Commanding Message of the Parable of the Talents
The Parable of the Talents is a story about a man who had servants. He was going on a journey, and he entrusted his possessions to them: they were made stewards over his possessions, each according to his abilities. One servant was given five talents, another was given two, and the third was given one talent. (A talent was not a coin, but a weight of a precious metal such as silver, and one talent of silver was worth more than $1,000.) The servant with five talents doubled his, as did the servant with two. The servant who had been given one talent buried it out of fear! He did not do anything to increase his master's property. When the master returned, he praised the first two servants, and then he took his one talent away from the third servant and gave it to the man who had ten talents. He punished the third servant because he had not properly used the talent he had been given, which seems terribly harsh, I know.
However, the parable makes a simple and very powerful point for us to embrace: 1) don't bury your talents, be it money or ability, and 2) each of these talents was given according to the abilities of the person, so use what talents you have.
This is incredibly exciting news! God WANTS us to be Rich in Mind, Body, Spirit AND Provision!
It means you are here to celebrate who you are and the special talents that only you bring. Certainly there are varying degrees of talents. This is a good thing! Keep your focus on what you do, on what you love. You are more than enough. You have more than enough for what you came here to be, do and have.
Understand there really is no competition for your talent. It's your talent. There is a right and perfect place for you and what you love doing and being. It's "your" dream. It's got your name on it! Your talents mature, grow and expand over you entire lifetime. Keep your talents in the Light and manage them well.
Excerpt from: God Wants You To Be Rich
The intention of this little book is to give you permission to be all that you can be. It allows you to overcome limiting beliefs, and to step more fully into your greatness, to be your best self as a living example of what humanity can, in fact, be. This IS how you make a difference while you are here. It is the natural order of things, to move beyond our parents' limitations.
It is important to recognize that we are made in the likeness and image of God, and have been given authority and dominion over everything we face on earth, including financial challenges and the opportunities they provide. The relationship between family wealth and financial wealth is how the first can increase the second. When we show up for our lives rich with love, laughter with the full realization that our talents and abilities are wasted if not used, we dwell in prosperity, happiness and peace of mind.
Timothy 6:10 says, "The love of money is the root of all evil." Translation: he recommends that we not elevate money above what is really important in life. Don't elevate money above marriage, children or your relationship with God. When you love money and cannot give it away or bless others with it, then it has become a problem.
I liken it to Charles Dicken's Christmas Story about Scrooge who - after a long dark night of the soul with his past, present, and future - went on to do great works with his financial blessing.
You are meant to be the master of all good, and that means very specifically that you are meant to enjoy the Rich Life of Spiritual and Material Wealth. In these pages, I know you will find renewed hope and direction for yourself. Make your spiritual and emotional breakthrough to being able to accept wealth, and revel in the difference it can make, both by its use and the time it will afford you.
It's a book that can change your life, and it also makes a great Christmas and New Year gift for loved ones you'd like to see succeed; your team, business associates and anyone who you would like to start MasterMinding with. Just click here for more information or to read the entire gift book before buying it, just like you'd do in any book store.
