You Don't Have to Warn the Darkness You Are Coming with the Light!

It feeds my spirit to revisit a specific passage from Gregg Bradden's book, The Isaiah Effect:

On Friday, November 13, 1998, a mass prayer was implemented on a worldwide basis, as a choice of peace during a time of escalating political tension in many parts of the world. Of specific interest that day was the expiration of a timeline imposed on Iraq to comply with the United Nations' demands for weapons inspections. Following months of unsuccessful negotiations for access into sensitive sites, the nations of the West had made it clear that Iraq's failure to comply would result in massive and extended bombing campaign designed to destroy suspected weapons sites. Such a campaign would certainly have resulted in great loss of life, civilian as well as military.

Linked through a global community accessing the World Wide Web, several hundred thousand people chose peace in a mass prayer carefully synchronized to precise moments that evening. During the time of the prayer, an event occurred that many consider to be a miracle. Thirty minutes into the aerial attack, the President of the United States, having received a letter from Iraqi officials stating that they would now cooperate with the requested weapons inspections, issued a rare order to U.S. forces to "stand down," the military term for aborting a mission.

The chances of such an event happening by coincidence in the same time window as the global prayer are small. Skeptics have given that similar results had been seen previously in events occurring in Iraq, the United States, and the Northern Ireland, a growing body of evidence suggests that the effect of mass prayer is more than coincidence. Confirming a tenet discovered in centuries-old texts, the evidence simply states that the choice of many people, focused in a specific manner, has a direct and measurable effect on our quality of life.

Though such changes appear unexplainable by ordinary means, quantum principles allow for them as a result of the inner force of collective or group choice. Perhaps encrypted in ancient traditions until the thinking of our day could recognize it, the lost science of prayer offers a course of action now to avoid the sickness, destruction, war, and death predicted for our future. Our individual choices merge into our collective response to the present, with implications that range from a matter of days to many generations into our future. Now we have the language to bring this powerful message of hope and possibility into each moment of our lives.

Let's not lament about what we have not yet achieved in mass consciousness ... let's go forward and look at what we prefer to be our world's future instead of pushing against all that we currently fear and all that is currently seeking to reorganize itself at a higher level. Let's collectively envision peace in world wide proportions.

Mediate upon the Light that you came here to be. Brighten up! Lighten up! Visualize worldwide peace and abundant restoration in very dark corner of the world, including all places in immediate need of reconstruction and reorganization at a higher level. Join others in this endeavor. The worldwide web is affordable!

Sometimes the Light attracts the darkness, so we can simply be the Light. Why expend your valuable, radiant, transformative Light energy on judging the darkness ... it's just dark!  That's all.

You don't have to warn the darkness you are coming with the Light!

Be a living example of what humanity can be when opportunity presents itself.

Here is a wonderful miracle that happened for a family when they focused solely upon the Light in the midst of really frightening situation:

Thanks. 'Jonty' as we call him (only five years old, my only son) is busy recovering.
His ordeal followed when the vehicle in which he was a passenger overturned. He was flung out and suffered serious head injuries. Subsequently, he was flown to Windhoek where he could get the best medical care. He remained unconscious in the I.C.U. at the Medi Clinic Facility until the Sunday that followed. As a secondary complication he caught pneumonia. He was kept in sedation until this past Wednesday when he was revived.
I can only describe his recovery since was phenomenal and astonishing as he was discharged from the I.C.U. to a normal children's ward two days later. He was finally discharged a couple of days latter and are now receiving Physiotherapy to restore full use of some of the muscle that were damaged.
We - me and his mother - remain grateful to all of you who suppoorted us.
This word of thanks is specially extended to: Mary Robinson Reynolds who through her inspirational movies gave me great courage to the extent that I was able to 'switch' my Light on and shine it on my boy and also on an unknown elderly male with similar injuries that were treated next to Johnathan in the I.C.U. He, I was told today, is also recuperating well.
