Does God Want You To Be Rich?
Time Magazine ran a story in its September 18, 2006, edition with the front-page caption "Does God Want You to Be Rich?" Now this is the million dollar question!
There are spiritual leaders today who do not want to talk about this hot-button topic and so many remain unclear about money; how to best grow and invest one's money, how to be a good steward of the money we are meant to enJoy and bless others' with, either directly or indirectly, through giving as well as teaching by demonstrating what financial success is possible and can look like.
Given that money is the universal medium of exchange, is necessary to function in the world, especially if we want to be the difference we came here to be -- maybe its time to talk about money as the blessing we are intended to expect and achieve.
Maybe its time to dissolve the GUILT we have that is creating an undercurrent of self-sabotage that we repeat over and over and over again, because we are not simply expanding our knowledge base to expect anything different.
If we are not afraid or embarrassed to discuss topics like sex, marriage, divorce and politics, we should be bold enough to confront this issue of God's stand on our personal enjoyment of money and riches as it relates to our life purpose and dreams.
Is God really concerned about people's real financial challenges?
Two major camps have emerged in this debate -- those who support the fact the God is our one and only source and provides a limitless abundance of all good things to everyone seeking connection first, and those who oppose this. These two camps each claim that the Bible supports their views. I am convinced that as you watch this movie and read my virtual companion book at the end, you will gain a clearer understanding of this crucial subject as it relates to the difference you are here to make!
God Helps Those Who Help Themselves
It is my firm belief and personal experience that God Helps Those Who Help Themselves, even those who are currently physically, emotionally or psychologically disabled. We all have the capacity to take a step forward to help ourselves. It can be something as simple as deciding to be positive about the dreams being dreamed through them, and to mentally intend, visualize and feel the realization "as if" it is already accomplished. It can also be making the effort to stretch our spiritual muscle and to move whatever parts of ourselves we have that are working, to help ourselves go forward in some way. Faith forward is when supernatural assistance arrives!
You may hold beliefs about money and about God that are creating barriers within your psyche. These barriers can cause mindless self-sabotage and block your ability to just go ahead and be rich BOTH monetarily and spiritually ... and be the difference maker you came here to be, i.e, Your Life's Purpose.
