Dear Difference Maker, This is one of my most 'favorite of all' prayers. On this day, choose to be the blessed and to be a blessing. This is St. Theresa's Prayer message: we can all find peace within through putting our faith in that which breathes us. By making a conscious choice to be blessed and to be a blessing, you open yourself to up to make a difference in the lives of others. Regardless of the people and circumstances going on around you, you always have the power to find peace within. Many question the line in the prayer: "May you trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be." Life's offerings are but feedback to us about the opportunity to rise up from the ashes and choose to be our best selves through asking for divine assistance. This IS how we make a difference while we are here. One way to embrace this line is to see that, regardless of our circumstances, in prayer and connection with the one who made us, we are in this moment, exactly where we are meant to be ... seek ye first the kingdom of Heaven. No matter where you are, no matter what's happened, no matter what you've done or not done, I AM here, I AM available to help, and all is well in our connection in this moment. Right here, right now, as we seek the kingdom, we are connected and communicating with the all that is ... and all is well. Saint Theresa is known as the Saint of the Little Ways. Meaning she believed in doing the little things in life well - and with great love. She is also the patron Saint of flower growers and florists. She is represented by roses.
