3 Sequential MasterMind Successes:
1 - My miracle for today (or should I say my first miracle of the day!) is that I noticed when going over some affirmations that I had written that I most always said: "I will . . ." I suddenly realized what I have been writing and saying! I don't want these things in the future -- just dangling ahead of me. I want them NOW! So -- I redid my statements as " I am now . . ." I see that you are in the present tense when writing the requests for our daily MM Requests and that your 7 steps are written in the present tense. But somehow I was not quite picking up on this on everything that I was saying and writing. Instead of "my savings account will get larger . . ." I rewrote it to read: "my savings account is getting larger . . ." And, yes, Mary, I did remember to put in the amount I want! Thanks!
2 - Last weekend we spent several days looking on the computer for good prices for a trip to fly to Seattle to see our grandchildren. We had a coupon for a free companion ticket but couldn't find any flights that were available when we wanted to go. Plus then we discovered that a ticket and our "free" ticket, with taxes, cost as much as two regular priced tickets -- we weren't getting any "free" ticket! We were both getting very discouraged! Then on Monday, I read my daily MasterMinding request, watched your LightMovie.com - then reluctantly called the airlines to try to finalize some kind of flight, thinking I'd be on the phone for a long time. After days of making no progress on getting tickets via the computer, the lady that came on the line gave us the exact dates that we wanted to fly, found that I had enough frequent flyer miles for one free ticket and the cost was very low! Within minutes, I had our tickets confirmed! That’s the way I like it!
3 - Today I had a call from a friend of mine from high school (I haven't heard from this person since we graduated - many, many, many years ago). Her mother died recently and I sent her a letter plus made her a small piece of art in remembrance of our parents who were friends. So that in itself is many miracles -- that I would see the obit in the paper from another town about her mother, easily had the phone number of the funeral home (because a friend had left me that town's phone book in case I ever needed to look up a number there), etc. Plus she took the time today to call me to thank me personally. But then another miracle occurred: she mentioned she had written some children's stories and needed an illustrator. I immediately thought "I can't do that." But after our phone conversation, I started remembering about MasterMinding and that I am now open to all possibilities! I plan to sit down and write her this afternoon and tell her to send me one of her stories, and I'll do a piece of art work for a page and see if she likes it.
